LARCUM HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOUSE

  

Ground was broken on October 7 at the building site at 12101 Belfonte Road in Bumpass. A number of opportunities remain for working on this joint project with Lutheran, Episcopalian and United Methodist congregations in our area.

Volunteers are needed for weekday build activities each week (between weekend activities). These crews are usually small (3-5 people) and can be retirees or people with flexible schedules that can help finish work from the previous Saturday or get us ready for the following Saturday.

Please bring your own lunch on work days.

GUIDELINES FOR YOUTH VOLUNTEERS:

• Under 14 not allowed on construction site.
• 14 - 15 allowed to clear lots, landscape, or paint; cannot be around power tools.
• 16 - 17 may perform general construction, but may not use power tools.
• No one under 18 may work from a height of 6 feet or more, which includes roofing.
